5TA - CHANGING THE STATUS QUO

At SR Suntour we are continuously looking to improve the status quo to making the cycling experience better, safer and more enjoyable. As the industry never stands still, new and innovative bicycles come to market and consumers change the way they use bicycles. Safety and security is a key principle that SR Suntour is fully dedicated to. We are continually questioning the status quo and combined with industry feedback and our own technical expertise to come up with a new industry leading thru-axle solution that is both cost-effective and has enhanced security. We call it 5TA. 5TA combines the advantages of a thru-axle solution with the ease of a traditional open drop out QR system. Instead of an open drop out we are now introducing a closed drop out that gets combined with a 5mm QR style axle that requires no specific hub. We also were able to combine thruaxle technology with open drop out pricing. For MY-26 we will introduce this new solution to a few key selected models.
